After spending many years in Western Australia from New Zealand, and being unable to find a supply of traditionally smoked seafood and meat products available on the market, they decided to experiment and develop a product range reminiscent of the unique tastes found in New Zealand smoked seafood and meat products. Their seafood is sourced from local commercial fishermen, taking the best quality of the catch. The products are hot smoked in the traditional method (by hand) using local varieties of woodchips. The seafood is processed without preservatives or chemicals. On their farm at Lowlands, they grow superior export quality Damara lambs. This breed has a greatly reduced total fat content than the traditionally available lamb varieties. The Southern Ocean, being rich in fish resources, makes it the ideal location, with the support of the local consumers and restauranteurs to further develop this business.
